Privacy Policy

TimePrice is an early-beta product. This policy describes only what the product does today. It will be revised — and reviewed professionally — before any expansion of what we collect.

What we collect

  • Account information: your email address and a password (stored only in securely hashed form by our authentication provider).
  • Devices you add: the device entries you create — category, the product you match them to, optional nicknames, and optional manufacturer/model text you type in.
  • Product submissions: product details you choose to submit for catalog review.
  • Time entries you record: when troubleshooting tracking launches, the durations, categories, and optional descriptions you yourself record.

What we do not do

  • TimePrice does not currently monitor your computer, hardware, or system events. No monitoring software exists yet. A future optional Windows app may offer this — with your explicit consent — and this policy will be updated before that launches.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not run third-party advertising or tracking on this site.
  • Your devices and time entries are private to your account. They are not visible to other users.

Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Where data lives

Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (currently Supabase for the database and authentication, and Vercel for hosting), protected by per-user access controls enforced at the database level.

Deletion

You can delete individual devices (including their history) inside the app at any time. To delete your entire account and its data during the beta, contact us and we will process it promptly.

Aggregate statistics

TimePrice's long-term goal is publishing aggregate, anonymous time-cost scores per product model. Published aggregates will never expose your individual history, and no such public statistics exist yet.
